the egg hunt

Johnny really enjoyed hunting for eggs this year. We had the first of many egg hunts in great grandma's back yard. Each egg had a single m&m inside. Plenty of incentive for a 22-month old. (Johnny wiped out on the pavement a few minutes before we took these pictures. Hence the scratches on his face. Poor guy.)

When we got home, Johnny wanted to do it again. We probably hid the eggs around the house a half a dozen times and every time was as exciting as the first. We didn't even bother with the candy after a while. It was the actual finding of the egg that Johnny loved most.
